The Adventuredome is an inside theme park in Circus Circus in Las Vegas, NV. For any accompanying parents/guardians, you do not have to have a ticket to gain access to The Adventuredome. Anyone can walk in but you have to purchase a wristband in order to go on the rides.
Map from Circus Circus
There are two levels to the Adenturedome. The bottom level is where all the rides are located with the exception of two roller coasters. The top level is where you go to board El Loco and Canyon Blaster.
If you don’t want your picture taken, I recommend to go to the second “entrance” (which is technically the exit but people come in and out), it’s only a few feet away from the entrance. When I went to enter the Adventuredome, I was forced to take a photo – okay- that’s common in a lot of places however, I had not experienced any rides yet and I was pressured to buy a photo. Why would I buy a souvenir photo when I haven’t experienced the theme park yet? When I asked one of the sales rep if I could decide later, I was told they expire after 10 minutes.
For The Thrill
Canyon Blaster is a double loop, double corkscrew roller coaster. It feels like I’m a rag doll with how fast it goes but it so much fun! The good news is this ride is not a long one for those who are afraid of going on the ride. This ride reminds me a lot of Big Thunder in Disneyland except make it intense.
El Loco has a 90 degree drop and only four people are allowed in one “car”. I am terrified of doing this ride so hats off to those who are brave enough.
Sling Shot shoots up very quickly and drops you. My only complaint is there is only one rise and one drop. I wish it was longer!
Disk’O is my favorite ride at The Adventuredome. It’s long enough that you enjoy the entire ride and it feels like you are flying from all different directions. It’s so much fun and perfect if you love a thrill!
Inverter flips you upside down forwards and backwards. There is even a few second hold completely upside down. It’s very thrilling and I’m still shocked I have not fallen out!
Sand Pirates – While this pirate ship may not look like a big deal, it’s another thing when you’re on it. This swinging pirate ship makes my stomach drop each time I ride it!
Chaos flips your feet and head in a swinging compartment while rotating in the compartment
For The Cute
Circus Carousel – Who doesn’t love a Carousel? Ride your favorite animal and go around a carousel. For those who want to ride but may not want to mount a bear, rabbit, or horse, you can ride on the bench on the carousel to enjoy the ride.
Road Runner– Think of this as a wavy carousel that goes forward, backwards, and then forwards again. It’s a nice fun ride to go on as an adult and a thrilling one for young ones.
FX Theater 4D Rides – They offer Ice Age and Spongebob. They go back and forth between each ride, in the same theater/waiting line. My favorite out of the two was Spongebob because it’s in second person, you get to be apart of Bikini Bottom and it had more 4D effects. Ice Age was also a very cool ride to go on. I do want to give a disclaimer to anyone with back issues, there is a bit of “stab” during the ride.
Drifters is a small hot air balloon Ferris wheel
Angry Birds the Ride– I personally did not think this ride was worth it and it was boring for me however, it may perfect for kids who love Angry Birds.
B.C. Bus is a bus that rotates like a Ferris wheel. It’s hilarious to hear the little children scream because for adults, it’s not scary at all! 😀
For those who don’t like roller coasters…
There’s lazer tag, bumper cars, a rock climbing wall, arcades, and miniature golf. The other activities that are not rides (like the arcade and miniature golf) have to be purchases through Circus Circus’ “Playcard”. Once you purchase a Playcard kiosk, you will be able to recharge it and use it to play any arcade or carnival game. An example of this would be in order to play Pirates Bounty (18 Hole Mini Golf), it costs 70 credits.
I been to the Adventuredome several times and every time it’s super fun and there is something here for adults, teenagers, and children.
