Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens is a must see in Las Vegas. They decorate the gardens with a different theme during the Lunar New Year, Springtime, Summertime, Harvest-time, and most famously, during the Holiday season.
Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is rated the number 3 thing to do in Las Vegas on Tripadvisor and it’s free.
If you are planning to visit the Bellagio, keep in mind their dark dates. The photos were taken in February 2021, the year of the Ox.
The Bellagio Gardens is a beautiful 14,000-square-foot Botanical Garden. It reminds me of Munchkinland from the Wizard of Oz with all of the beautiful colors and flowers.
When is Chinese New Year?
2022: February 1st (Year of the Tiger)
2023: January 22nd (Year of the Rabbit)
2024: February 10th (Year of the Dragon)
2025: January 29 (Year of the Snake)

Chinese New Year is also known as the Spring Festival or Lunar New Year. The New Year starts on the new moon, the second new moon before the March equinox, to be exact and ends 15 days later on the full moon (“Lantern Festival”).
They have beautiful water fountains, all (real) flowers with the description, “ponds” with koi fish, a wishing fountains, and beautiful statues.
Fun Fact: Red is considered luck in China which is why it is a New Year tradition to give out red envelopes with money inside. Red lanterns are hung outside to ward off bad luck.
