NASA Johnson Space Center is open daily from 10am to 5pm (6pm on weekends) at 1601 Nasa Parkway Houston, TX 77058.
NASA Johnson Space Center is about 35 minutes from Galveston’s Cruise Port and 45 minutes from the Houston Airport (George Bush Intercontinental Airport) assuming there is no traffic.
As of 2022, it costs $7 per luggage, suitcase, and backpack. The facility stores the luggage in a secure room so you don’t have to worry about your suitcase being too large.
After purchasing and scanning your ticket inside the space center, go to the Guest Services booth on the right hand side to “check in” your luggage.
Alternatively, if you don’t have large luggage, you can rent a locker from $3-$5 depending on the locker size.
Click here to purchase tickets to NASA Johnson Space Center. Don’t forget to download NASA’s “Space Center Houston” app and immediately join their virtual queues for their tours. Their White Tour to the Apollo Mission Control Center books up EXTREMELY QUICKLY and tends to have a several hour wait. Once you check in the day you are visiting, join the queue via the app right away.
Enjoy NASA!
